Free for Windows 11 · nothing to install on the phone
BudMix plays your phone's sound and your laptop's sound in the same Bluetooth earbuds at the same time, even if your buds can only connect to one device.
The problem
Disconnect the laptop. Connect the phone. Back again. Every single time.
How it works
Over Wi-Fi with the phone's built-in Cast, or over Bluetooth, where the laptop acts as a speaker. Nothing to install.
YouTube, Zoom and every app play together with the phone, each with its own volume slider.
BudMix keeps them connected, reconnects them after a drop, and gives your old speaker back when they go away.
Two ways for your phone
A Miracast receiver is built in. BudMix shows up in the phone's Cast list like a TV.
Pair the phone with the laptop once. BudMix connects to it by itself whenever it isn't casting.
Leave it on Auto. The same phone never plays twice, so there's no echo.
Features
Click the tray icon and a small dock opens beside it.
Buds, phone and receiver come back by themselves after a drop, a closed case or sleep.
Buds, laptop, phone over Wi-Fi and phone over Bluetooth each get a slider and mute.
Bluetooth, pairing, network, firewall and Wi-Fi support, checked and fixed with one click.
"Phone audio is now in your buds", "Network is Public", "Buds switched to call mode".
No account, no telemetry. The receiver only runs on your Private home network.
Ctrl+Alt+B connects or releases the buds from any app.
Waits in the tray, receiver ready, buds connected when they're on.
Follows your Windows theme, with the Windows 11 look.
